Whew, it’s a good thing that the list in Cynthea Liu’s blog entry “Making the Most out of your Conference Critique,” doesn’t look like this list above at all! Instead it’s an awesome set of guidelines written by author Cynthea Liu that helps aspiring writers have a great critique session.
And so, although WLT’s conference has been and gone, that doesn’t mean that any of you fabulous writers won’t be meeting with agents, editors, writers, etc. to have a critique sometime in the near future. For anyone with burning questions about how to act and what to say during a critique, feeling jittery and nervous about an impending critique, or just wanting to prepare for next year’s WLT Agents Conference, this blog is for you! The entry gives insights and bits of advice on nearly all the aspects of the critique (and process), so check it out!
