Get Up, Get Out of the House, and Write!

There just aren’t enough places outside the home where a writer can work in peace and quiet. That’s why Write by Night, an Austin-based writing center, created Write Here. Three times a week they provide a quiet space for you to write, read, meet other writers, or just kick back and dream. Coffee, snacks, Wi-Fi, writing prompts, several comfy seating areas—what more could a writer ask for? The best part: Write Here is free and open to the public. It takes place Tuesdays, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.; Wednesdays, 4 – 8 p.m.; Saturdays, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Come whenever you like, and stay for all or part of the time. For more info, check out their website.
